The Greenland form of the Gyrfalcon, a monochrome plate by Lilian M. Medland from The Birds of the British Islands by Charles Stonham, volume III, published in London by Grant Richards around 1908. The plate number "Plate CXXXIX" is lettered at the lower right, with the artist's signature below the bird.

The falcon is shown nearly white, perched in profile on a rock outcrop with its head lowered and its gaze fixed ahead. Dark crescent-shaped markings on the back, wings and tail stand out against the pale plumage, and the plate is softly shaded against a plain ground, with no landscape detail. The title given for the plate in the source work is "White Falcon"; the pale Greenland bird was also known as the Greenland Falcon.

Stonham's work was a large illustrated survey of British birds, and the Greenland form of the Gyrfalcon appears among its plates.
