An authentic, perfect and bright, originally hand-colored, illustration of 3 Cockatoos: Le Kakatoes a Huppe Rouge, Le Kakatoes a Huppe Jaune and Le Kakatoes a Huppe Blanche. Also 1 special Parakeet is displayed: L'Arimanon. It lives on French Polynesia, Tahiti.

Drawn on parchment paper (copper engraving). It has a fine shining because of the authenticly applied egg-yolk as varnish. The Artist is Robert Bernard (1792). The illustration is plate number 225 from ''Encyclopédie méthodique: Histoire Naturelle, Ornithologie', by Panckoucke (Paris), after the famous Encyclopédie by Diderot and d'Alembert.
