Antique print titled 'Manege, la Croupade et la Balotade'. Copper engraving of horse riding: ballotade. Ballotade is a forward leap performed by a horse trained in manège in which fore and hind legs are gathered under the body and the hind hoofs are turned outward so that the shoes are visible.
This print originates from 'Manège et équitation, Allures naturelles'. Published in Paris, 1765.
